A native of Ferguson, NC, a very small, rural town in the northwestern part of the state, Dr. Wingler spent a lot of time outdoors either recreationally hunting and fishing, or working on his family land. Combining his passion for health and fitness with problem solving and service to others, Dr. Wingler realized that dentistry would be the path for him.
Dr. Wingler received a Bachelor of Science in Biology, and a minor in Chemistry from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He went on to receive his Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree (DDS) from the UNC School of Dentistry.
He has gone on to refine his craft through continuing education in various areas particularly in dental implants where he completed the Implant Pathway Continuum in Tempe, Arizona by providing free care to Veterans. He is a member of the American Dental Association, the North Carolina Dental Society, the Academy of General Dentistry, and the International Congress of Implantologists. He is also a member of the Spear Study Club.
